The meaning
What the name means Lu is travelling, being a guest, being away.
The picture Fire on a mountain, burning there but soon gone, unable to stay long.
The sense of the whole The whole hexagram is about the position of being away. As a guest do not be forceful; keep to your place, be careful, and make no trouble. A temporary stop should not be taken for a permanent home.
In plain words: what this hexagram says
A state of being on the road or staying for a while. Less edge and more care; keep your measure and do not insist on security.
