泰国的飞头女:白天是人,晚上头飞出去找吃的

Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, that area, there's a very famous ghost called "Kasu".
During the day, she's a very ordinary woman, some say she's even quite beautiful, living in the village. At night, her head detaches from her neck, trailing a string of intestines and internal organs, drifting out through the window. The flying head emits a faint light, wandering in the fields and around the edges of the village, looking for blood, looking for excrement, some say looking for livestock organs, especially fond of finding families who just gave birth, drawn by the smell of blood.
Her body is left at home. So villagers say, if they find a certain woman not at home at night, her body lying there cold, without breath, that's her.
According to the story, she must return before dawn and reattach her head to her body. If she can't make it back, her body won't close up, and she will die.
How to prevent? Local elders say, hang thorny branches at the window and door; once her internal organs get hooked on the thorns, she can't move. In Malaysia and that area there's a similar flying head ghost; stories say if you take advantage of her being out, flip her body over, or sprinkle salt and vinegar on the severed neck, when she returns she won't be able to reattach.
According to legend, they were originally women who learned black magic, cursed into becoming like this. This ghost has been filmed many times in Thai movies and TV dramas; the scariest thing is that long string of bloody intestines trailing below the flying head.
Local kids really hear about this from childhood all the way to adulthood.
