A Farm in Utah: Missing Livestock, Orbs in the Sky, Buyer's Family Sold It After Two Years

In eastern Utah, USA, there is a large valley, and in the valley is a ranch called "Skinwalker Ranch". The name comes from a type of wizard in Native American legend who can turn into animals.

In 1994, a family surnamed Sherman bought this ranch to raise cattle. They said that starting from the second year, strange things began to happen.

First, several cows in the herd died; some had no wounds, some had a round incision on their bodies with their blood drained, and some simply vanished without a single footprint on the ground. Then, at night, glowing balls floated above the fields—some orange, some white—that chased people and cars. Once, their dog followed a ball of light and ran out, never to return.

They also said they saw a huge, wolf-like creature with thick skin; shooting it with guns had no effect.

One day, they said, they saw a circular opening appear out of thin air in midair, like a door, inside which was another place.

Two years later, the Sherman family sold the ranch. The buyer was a wealthy businessman in the aerospace industry who was obsessed with the supernatural. He organized a research team there that monitored the site continuously for several years and published some reports. Later the ranch changed hands again, and since 2020 there has been a TV show dedicated to it.

Some people who went there said they saw nothing at all. Others say a large part of its legend was made for the TV show and cannot be fully believed.

As for how those cows actually died and what those balls of light really were, the Shermans said a lot, but outsiders have no way to verify each claim one by one.
