灯塔上三个守塔人一起不见了,补给船来的时候门是关着的

Off the coast of Scotland, there is a small island called Flannan, and on the island stands a lighthouse. In the winter of 1900, something happened there.

The lighthouse was lit in 1899, built on the largest of the islands, more than thirty kilometers from the mainland. There were three keepers on the tower, usually taking turns on duty, while one more stayed ashore to rest. Around December 15th that year, passing ships noticed that the light at the top of the tower was not lit. A ship's captain reported it after arriving at the port. But for those days the wind and waves were too high, the supply ship could not dock, and it was delayed until the 26th before it finally reached the island.

One man got off the ship, the relief keeper, named Muir. He shouted for a long time at the pier, but no one answered. He climbed up and pushed open the door. The door was closed, and there was no one inside. The three keepers, Ducat, Marshall, and McArthur, had all disappeared. The last entry in the duty log was from December 13th. The fire in the stove had long since gone out, the beds were unmade, and nothing inside was missing.

Next, the officials in charge of the lighthouse went to the island and found obvious signs that a big wave had hit the western pier: a crate for storing equipment had been washed apart, iron railings were bent, ropes were tangled into a ball, and there were some inexplicable dents on the rocks. Two raincoats were missing, and one was still hanging on the wall, meaning that among the three men, one had gone out without wearing anything.

The official conclusion was: the three men were swept away by a big wave while going to secure the equipment.

Later versions that spread became more and more detailed, saying the food on the table was still there, the chairs were overturned, the clock stopped at a certain moment, and the log recorded 'storm,' but those days were actually clear. None of these things were mentioned in the report from that year. It was in 1912 that a poet wrote a poem describing a very frightening image. People remembered the poem and took the poem as the report.

This conclusion is very reasonable, but not very exciting, so every few years someone wants to add some embellishments to the story.

The lighthouse is now automated, and no one lives inside it. What remains on the island are the three houses the men used back then, and the light that turns once every night.
