The OP who posted for a friend was exposed page by page: she was that friend

This is a very famous post on Tianya. The title roughly means "Talking about the spiritual world of a schizophrenic patient I know."

The OP said she had a hometown friend, classmate, and good friend named C. From university to graduate school, she basically watched C gradually become ill. She spoke in a particularly calm and objective tone: C suspected someone was following her, poisoning her; when she returned to the dormitory, she felt someone was in her quilt; when walking on the road, she felt her supervisor had sent assassins to chase her. With every paragraph she posted, the OP also attached a carefully selected horror picture, and the images matched the text perfectly.

In the middle of the thread, a netizen named H appeared, speaking very professionally, helping to analyze C's personality and symptoms, and the OP and he asked and answered each other. After each paragraph, H also attached a picture, with a style almost identical to the OP's.

On the second page, the OP accidentally used the wrong alternate account and posted a connecting paragraph with another ID. Afterwards, that ID continued to pretend to be a passerby, occasionally posting a few eerie pictures. Someone began to suspect: the OP and H were the same person. Then someone discovered that on the third page, the OP said she couldn't post pictures, and after that ID posted pictures, it said "Good news, I can post pictures again."

Then someone said the harshest thing: how is it that what you describe about C and her classmate being together is more detailed than what you and she did together, as if you were standing right beside watching?

Finally, netizens checked the registration times: the three IDs were registered on the same day, with the same writing habits, even the same typos. The conclusion was: the OP was C herself.

She refused to admit she was sick, so she imagined herself as C's friend and wrote in the tone of an onlooker; then she imagined herself as Doctor H, treating herself.

After the post, there were several more "sock puppets", and no one could count exactly how many there were.
