广州荔湾广场楼顶四个字,晚上从某个角度看像“荔湾尸场”

Guangzhou Lihwan Plaza is a building not too old, located in Liwan District. There is a saying online: when it was under construction, eight coffins were dug up. The workers found a way to deal with them, and after the building was completed, eight lives were lost every year.

In this rumor, there is a particularly striking detail: the sign on the rooftop. The four characters "Lihwan Plaza" are written in cursive script. At night, when lit up, from a certain angle, they can be misread as "Lihwan Corpse Field."

Such rumors always come with a few "pieces of evidence," and those four characters are the most visual one. Some netizens have posted pictures, and others have gone specifically to that angle to verify, taking photos and posting them on forums. Below, some said it really looks a bit like it; others said you are just predisposed to believe it.

As for the eight coffins, there is currently no report or construction record with this claim; nor are there statistics on eight people every year.

It's just that Guangzhou has built so many high-rises in recent years that almost every building has a rumor about "what was dug up during groundbreaking." People have heard it so many times that they've all become used to it.

Cursive characters are naturally easy to misread; rooftop lights are also blurry at night. This rumor is actually just a matter of a stroke.

But that building is still there now, and every year there are still people who specifically go to see those four characters. Those who come will deliberately stand across the street to find that angle.
